Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the Freee mobile application and website (the "Service" or "App") operated by the Freee Team ("us", "we", or "our").


1. Agreement & Acceptance

By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the App.

2. Eligibility

  • Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Service.
  • Account Accuracy: You warrant that all information provided during registration is accurate and complete.
  • Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your account. We strictly recommend against jailbreaking or rooting your device, as this may compromise the App’s security and functionality.

3. Nature of the Service

  • Marketplace Facilitator: Freee is a peer-to-peer platform. We do not own, inspect, verify, or guarantee any items listed.
  • No Party to Transactions: All exchanges and meetings occur entirely at your own risk. Freee is not a party to any interactions between users.
  • Fees & "Free Only" Rule: The Service is free. Items exchanged on this platform must be strictly free. Requesting cash, bartering, or demanding upfront "shipping fees" is strictly prohibited and will result in an immediate ban.
  • Prohibited Items: You may not list weapons, dangerous or recalled products, illegal substances, drugs, stolen goods, counterfeit items, or live animals. Freee reserves the right to remove any listing at our sole discretion.

4. User Conduct & Safety

  • Prohibited Behavior: You agree not to harass, stalk, or threaten other members.
  • No-Shows & Marketplace Trust: Repeatedly failing to attend agreed-upon collections ("no-shows") severely damages the community. Freee reserves the right to suspend users who exhibit chronic no-show behavior.
  • Non-Transferable: Your access to the Application is non-transferable.
  • Safety First: You are responsible for the information you share. We recommend meeting in safe, public locations for item collections.

5. Intellectual Property

  • Ownership: The App, its source code, trademarks, and database rights remain the property of the Freee Team.
  • Restrictions: You are not allowed to copy, modify, or attempt to extract the source code of the app in any way.

6. Technical Requirements

  • Connectivity: The App requires an active internet connection. Freee is not responsible for limited functionality due to lack of Wi-Fi or mobile data.
  • Updates: You agree to accept all updates to the application to ensure continued service and security.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, Freee accepts no liability for any loss (direct or indirect) resulting from:

  • Interactions with other users.
  • Accuracy of information provided by third parties.
  • Technical failures or device issues (e.g., your device running out of battery).

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of NSW.
